Hi! I’m Michał Pawlik.

Software developer since 2012. These days I work mostly in Scala and functional programming, building libraries, backend services, CLI tools, and the occasional hobby full stack app.

I co-create polyvariant, a group of Scala enthusiasts making the language better, one library at a time. We build open source libraries used in production across the Scala ecosystem.

Occasionally I speak at meetups and conferences. Topics range from type-level programming to hacking hobby projects and engineering case studies.

When I’m not coding I tinker with self-hosting, smart home automation, and a bit of IT security. Breaking things and figuring out how they work is half the fun.
